Nadroga Navosa Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Suresh Naidu is encouraging Fijians to support local businesses, share with those in need and celebrate Diwali safely and responsibly.
In his Diwali message, Naidu says the Festival of Lights reminds everyone that light overcomes darkness, knowledge overcomes ignorance and hope overcomes despair.
He says these values are close to the heart of the business community, as small and large enterprises, farmers and entrepreneurs have shown resilience through challenging times.
Naidu says their commitment continues to keep the local economy moving.
He says Diwali is also a season of generosity and renewal, and the Indo-Fijian community has long contributed to the commercial and cultural life of the Nadroga and Navosa region.
The Chamber President says the festival provides an opportunity for everyone, regardless of faith or background, to celebrate the unity and shared prosperity that make Fiji strong.
Naidu has also acknowledged the Chamber members for their dedication and partnership.
He hopes the coming year will bring growth, stability and opportunities to every business and household in the province.
Naidu has extended warm Diwali greetings to Chamber members, the business community and families across Nadroga, Navosa and the wider Fiji.
