Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne dies at the age of 76, while in the UK.

A statement from the family says it is with more sadness than mere words can convey that they have to report that their beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away.

Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and played Black Sabbath's farewell gig in his home city of Birmingham earlier this month.

Metallica and Ronnie Wood lead the way in tributes, UB40's Ali Campbell remembers him as a "true Birmingham legend".

Black Sabbath simply say: "Ozzy Forever."

The heavy metal singer was known for energetic and controversial live shows, including the time he mistakenly bit the head off a bat

By the early 2000s, the performer and his family became reality TV stars after launching the Osbournes, which showcased their chaotic lives in Los Angeles.
