Over 35,000 people mark Fiji Street Party

An estimated 40 thousand people packed Albert Part last night to welcome 2010 at the annual Legend FM Fiji Street party.

With people from all walks of life dancing the night away it was a sight to remember as the countdown ended with a huge fireworks display.

Several tourists were also at the Street party and had come from Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the US.

One of the first families to arrive at Albert Park yesterday came all the way from Waidina in Nitasiri.

They set up their tent and brought their lovo food and grog with the entire family to welcome the New Year.

And it’s that time of the year again when people make new year resolutions and set themselves goals and targets for the new year.

But not everyone wants to change.
