Only 2 Fiji athletes qualify for Olympics so far
Only two athletes have so far qualified from Fiji to compete in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Caroline Pickering from Swimming and Makelesi Bulikiobo from Athletics will fly our flags after the tremendous performance in the Pacific Games.

Pickering won two gold while Bulikiobo won 3 gold and 2 silver in Samoa.

Meanwhile Judoka, Sisilia Nasiga will compete in the World Championship in Brazil this weekend and must produce a good performance to qualify for the Olympics.

The Fiji women's hockey side and the men's basketball team will have to go through qualifying rounds against Oceania teams to book a ticket to Beijing.
