No tsunami threat for Fiji after 6.4 magnitude earthquake

6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck south of Fiji

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has struck south of Fiji at 4.20pm today and the Mineral Resources Department has confirmed that there is no tsunami threat from this earthquake.

The location of the earthquake was located at 781.9km Southeast of Suva with its depth of 98km.
