No talks are expected between Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama and Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase as Commodore Bainimarama said Qarase has nothing to offer the Interim administration.
In an exclusive interview with Village News this morning, Commodore Bainimarama said the interim government is opposing the policies brought about by the former Qarase government and it is pointless to speak to him.
Commodore Bainimarama has also rejected suggestions by Qarase that elections should be held as soon as possible.
He also reveals that the military council is of the view that Qarase and the former SDL ministers should never return to power, as the military had asked for years that he should bring about fair policies when he was leading the government.
Stay with us we will have more from the exclusive interview with Bainimarama throughout today.
