Former Fiji Water Flying Fijians skipper Waisea Nayacalevu

Former Fiji Water Flying Fijians skipper Waisea Nayacalevu has dropped another bomb in regards to the FRU saga in response to Minister of Sports, Jese Saukuru’s statement in Parliament.

Nayacalevu has released a snippet of a Zoom call that the team had with FRU management.

The meeting in question, was held before the All Blacks game in San Diego where the players were asking about their pay.

According to the video, the players were only paid till 6th July, a day after their Georgia Test, while the All Blacks game was held two weeks later on 20 July.

Former FRU High Performance Manager BJ Mather can be heard telling the players that he will go and talk to the finance team.

Nayacalevu further reiterates that someone should be held accountable, as this is not the first, second or third time because it has been happening for years.
