Good news for people as records kept at National Archives of Fiji is being digitized and will be provided online.

While speaking during the 2025 International Archives Day celebration, Assistant Minister of Information Aliki Bia says the National Archives of Fiji works closely with universities, both local and international, government agencies, statutory bodies, religious and cultural centers, and museums to champion preserving and sharing information.

University of the South Pacific Professor in History and Historiography Dr Nicolas Halter says they are reaching out to the remote and rural communities throughout Fiji during events such as Ratu Sukuna Day and Girmit Day and are trying to share the accessibility of archives with everyone.
