Nagasau thanks the players for standing back up to work hard and win bronze
Fijiana 7s team captain Rusila Nagasau.

Fijiana 7s team captain Rusila Nagasau says it is what it is for them playing rugby.

She has thanked the team for standing back up and winning bronze last night.

The Fijiana 7s team made a remarkable and inspiring achievement to create history and win bronze in the Olympic Games last night.

They defeated Great Britain 21-12 at Tokyo Stadium to win their first-ever medal at an Olympic Games.

Fiji was relentless in attack.

Alowesi Nakoci crossed over twice and the win was sealed with a try by Reapi Uluinasau.

This is the best performance so far by Team Fiji at an Olympics with 1 gold and 1 bronze.

Meanwhile, the Black Ferns 7s team beat France 26-12 to win gold at the Tokyo Olympics, banishing the heartbreak of finishing second to Australia at the Rio Games five years ago.
