We can confirm that Marist Brothers High School has won the boys division title of the 2012 Coca Cola Games with the 4x400 metres relay finals still underway.

Marist leads with 14 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze.

The Marist team won the Senior Boys 4x100 metres gold medal.

Marist also won gold through Joseph Mow in the Junior Boys Long Jump.

Defending champion in the boys division, Suva Grammar School is in second place with 10 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze while Xavier College is third with 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.

This means that Marist will win the boys division although the 4x400 metres finals are yet to be run.

Marist Manager, Navitalai Waiwalu said their win is dedicated to all the brothers of the school as they are celebrating the school’s 75th anniversary this year.

Waiwalu said the Marist athletes also stepped up after Banuve Tabakaucoro’s withdrawal on Thursday.
