A man will be produced in the Suva Magistrates Court today charged for his alleged involvement in the illicit drug trade.
Police say a joint team from the Serious Organised Crime and Intelligence Department, Fiji Detector Dog Unit and Police K9 Unit, intercepted the man’s vehicle earlier this week along Reservoir Road.
They say a subsequent search conducted at a house he was staying in resulted in the seizure of several large plastic bags of marijuana.
They add the accused has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
