A man in his 30's who is charged with one count of attempted murder will be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.
The man allegedly tried to murder his partner over the weekend.
The accused is alleged to have attempted to drown his partner while swimming in Colo‑i‑Suva on Saturday.
A team of police officers heard the woman’s cry for help and managed to save her and arrested the accused.
The woman sustained injuries during the alleged incident and was treated and sent home.
