The unique and the oldest ship in the world, MV Doulous which is 93-years-old has berthed at the Suva Wharf carrying 350 volunteers and a floating library carrying half a million books.
The ship will be in Suva for two weeks where a team of volunteers will visit villagers and to help members of the communities.
67-year-old Gary Doug from Arizona is the oldest crew member and he enjoys travelling around the world and meeting different people.
Meanwhile, Suva Lord Mayor Ratu Peni Volavola today was chief guest and welcomed the crew members who are from 53 different nations and have a focus to seek and serve communities who need assistance
