Lewageena sets new record in the junior girls discus
15-year-old Loata Lewageena of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School

15-year-old Loata Lewageena of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School has set a new record in the junior girls discus with a throw of 35.30 metres.

She broke the previous record of 33.50 metres set in 2017.

In the same event, 15-year-old Matea Sulue Tanya of Swami Vivekananda College won silver, and her throw was also beyond the previous record.

Tanya’s throw was 35.22 metres.
