The Land Transport Authority will soon open some of its offices on Saturdays.
Chairman Vijay Maharaj says the new CEO of LTA is working on some outstanding issues and they are hoping to start this service soon.
Fijivillage has been raising the issue on why LTA offices are not open on Saturdays as many people say they work in the weekdays and cannot visit the office for LTA services due to work commitments.
Maharaj says they are looking at the employment contracts of the LTA staff that are currently contracted to just work on the weekdays.
Maharaj says they are looking at opening some LTA offices on Saturdays for certain hours and only some services will be provided.
