LTA to hold PSV stakeholders consultations

The Land Transport Authority is inviting Hire, Minibus and Rental permit holders for stakeholder consultations to get their feedback and input on matters relating to their permit policies, processes and their industry.

The consultations, which begin from today, will be held over this week and the next week in the Central-Eastern Division, the Western Division, and the Northern Division.

LTA Board Chairman, James Sowane, says following their series of meetings with the Attorney General and Minister for Transport respectively, they are focused on reviewing their various policies and processes to align them to be relevant to the current socio-economic situation and trading environment to play their part in facilitating ease of doing business and equal opportunities for their stakeholders.

The first consultation will be held from 9am to 4.30pm today at Albert Park Hall in Suva.

For the Minibus permit holders the consultation time is from 9am to 11am, for Rental permit holders from 11am to 1pm and Hire permit holders from 2pm to 4pm.
