Travelling to the Land Transport Authority Office in Valelevu or Sports City will be a thing of the past for the residents of the greater Suva Area as LTA has opened its new Suva Express Office at the FNPF Plaza today.

While opening the new office, Acting Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Jone Usamate says this new LTA office comes at a time when there is an increased demand for LTA services as the public continues to invest in the transport sector.

Usamate says the Suva LTA Express Office will be operational from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

He says the services at the new Express office include payment of vehicle inspection fees, vehicle registration fees, drivers license renewal, payment of tax infringement notices, search records, booking for the Defensive Driving Course and payment of the motor vehicle levy.

The new LTA Suva Express Office has five customer service officers and a team leader.

He says LTA has 20 offices nationwide, and they will refurbish their offices in Nadi and Lautoka City soon.
