Kiala Henri Lusaka who is a Congo National and who allegedly murdered his wife in Suva has been remanded in custody.
39-year-old Lusaka allegedly murdered the 44 year old Australian woman on the 23rd of last month at Service Street in Suva.
Lusaka informed court today that he is in Fiji on visitors visa and his visa expires on the 22nd of this month.
The Police Prosecutor said that they will object to bail as they have a strong case against him.
Lusaka has opted for a private lawyer.
The case has been transferred to the Suva High Court and will be called on the 26th of this month.
