Fiji's biggest fashion show kicked off with a good turn out last night with local designer Robert Kennedy walking away with the best established designer award.
Kennedy whose designs were inspired by the 1980 movie Blue Lagoon said he felt happy to have scooped the award out of the ten established designers as he only had about ten months to put his collection together.
He added that Fiji's fashion industry is looking very promising.
International designer Jerrel Scott said he was impressed with the work of the local designers and support from the people is really important.
Today, the Children's show will be held at 10am this morning, Secondary School students designs at 11am, Pacific Island designers show at 2.30pm while emerging designers show will be at 7pm at Tappoo's city.
