June visitor arrivals is the highest we have seen since COVID

Good news as tourism arrivals continue to grow with visitor arrivals for June 2022 standing at 62,130 according to the Fiji Bureau of Statistics.

This is almost 73 percent of June 2019 which was the pre-COVID period.

Cumulative to June this year, visitor arrivals stands at 205,529, almost 50 percent of the same period for 2019.

June visitor arrivals is also the highest we have seen since COVID.

Australian arrivals in June stood at almost 97 percent of June 2019.

New Zealand arrivals in the month of June 2022 was 66 percent of 2019 while the US market stood at 78 percent.

There are clear indications that this month’s visitor arrival figures are also looking very strong.
