Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says it is quite obtuse to suggest that we should vaccinate everyone without any science backing it while SODLEPA Leader Viliame Gavoka says COVID-19 is out of control and we should change the narrative and not focus any more on herd immunity but aim for total immunization and achieve that by December this year.

Sayed-Khaiyum says he certainly does not want his 4-year-old daughter to be vaccinated at the moment because science does not tell them that it can be done.

He says at the moment some countries are vaccinating those over the age of 12.

Sayed-Khaiyum adds it has been scientifically proven that the COVID vaccines that are currently available are appropriate for people above 18 years.

Gavoka says total immunization can be done through incentives and education and not threats.

He claims herd immunity has been debunked and countries now realize that they have to go for full immunization.
