Police are continuing their investigations into the alleged theft of cash and equipment amounting to $24,000 from Fiji Hardwood Corporation.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said they are liaising with the DPP's Office.
She also said some workers are being questioned.
The government said the alleged incidents occurred at the Waivunu Sawmill in Serua and the Navutu Manufacturing site in Lautoka over the past years.
A significant amount of mahogany timber has also been stolen from these sites.
The loss recorded in the past years costing massive amounts of taxpayers' money has resulted in the suspension of the two operations.
Meanwhile FHCL has accumulated more than $18 million of government-guaranteed loans and also received more than $25 million grants from 1998 until 2006.
