I want you to make Fiji proud when we finish COP in two weeks time.
This was the message from the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during the Fiji delegates briefing in Bonn Germany.
Bainimarama says he is very proud of the achievement of the negotiation team in the COP on how far they have come.
While officiating at the ‘Moving for Climate Now’ event, Fiji's High‑Level Climate Champion Inia Seruiratu says they want all the citizens of planet earth to contribute to the fight against global warming.
Seruiratu says there have been a lot of contributions by partners and stakeholders in this fight.
Seruiratu joined cyclists who travelled to Bonn for COP23.
The Moving for Climate NOW event is an electric bike tour with a total of 40 cyclists which left Paris on October 30th, and arrived in Bonn where the team was received by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Executive Secretary, Patricia Espinosa and Seruiratu.
