Home Finance Company Limited will start their bank on the 3rd of March this year.
This has been confirmed to Fijivillage by Home Finance Company chairperson Tom Ricketts.
Ricketts said the bank will be in their existing premises and will have existing staff members.
The company has 6 branches in the country.
The bank will be locally owned as the Fiji National Provident Fund owns 75 percent of HFC and 25 percent belongs to the Unit Trust of Fiji.
Meanwhile, Fiji National Provident Fund members and pensioners will have the opportunity to find out more about the fund’s financial performance and its future undertakings as the Members Forum will continue to be held around the country.
Stakeholders such as Vodafone Fiji Limited, HFC, TFL, Unit Trust and FRCA will also be part of the FNPF Group Expo.
The next forum will be held at the Nadi Town hall next Wednesday and then at Lautoka’s Tanoa Waterfront Hotel next Friday.
