A Heavy Rain Warning previously in force for Western and Northern Viti Levu from Nadi through Ba, Rakiraki to Nausori and interior of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca group is now downgraded to Alert.

The Nadi Weather Office says a Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for the rest of the Fiji group.

They say a Flash Flood Warning previously in force for all flash flood-prone areas, small streams and low-lying areas of Northern and Western Viti Levu from Nadi through Ba, to Rakiraki till Nausori, Vanua Levu is now downgraded to Alert.

They add that a Flood Warning previously in force for flood-prone areas adjacent to and downstream of the Nakauvadra River, Penang River, Yaqara River, Nasivi, Qawa, Nakorotari and Nasekawa Rivers is now cancelled.

A Flash Flood Alert remains in force for all flash flood-prone areas, small streams and low-lying areas of the rest of Viti Levu.

The Weather Office says a trough of low pressure remains slow-moving over Fiji and the associated cloud and rain continue to affect parts of the country.

Meanwhile, a northwest-to-southeast wind flow prevails over the group.
