Going to the movies just got a whole lot cheaper for Port Moresby residents who are able to access Paradise Cinemas Limited second cinema multiplex in Papua New Guinea.
The new cinema which caters for 539 movie patrons will include theaters that feature the latest in digital projection and surround sound with a video games area.
Commenting on behalf of the Paradise Cinemas Ltd shareholders, City Pharmacy Limited, PNG FM Ltd and Damodar Brothers Ltd, Chairman William Parkinson says they are delighted to complete the second phase of the company’s development.
The project which took six months to build is worth 7.5 million Kina which is equivalent to FJD$5.67 million.
Communications Fiji Limited’s subsidiary PNG FM Limited invested K1.5 million (FJD$1.13) along with their major PNG based partner City Pharmacy Limited.
Following this investment, PNG FM and City Pharmacy Limited Group owns 2.5 million shares of 41.66 percent while Damodar Brothers Limited owns 1 million shares 16.66% in Paradise Cinemas Limited.
