Former Saint Joseph's Secondary School Principal, Sister Genevieve Loo has passed away.
The Cluny Sisters in New Zealand in a statement announced her sudden passing at the age of 78 years. Sister Genevieve was recovering at the Home of Compassion after her hip operation.
Sister Genevieve was the longest serving Principal for Saint Joseph's Secondary School.
She was a Biology and Chemistry teacher at St Bede's College for 10 years before moving to Saint Joseph's in 1992 then later became Principal in 1993.
The Cluny Sisters are now meeting to finalize arrangements for the funeral of Sister Genevieve.
