Flood waters recede at Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki Towns

Floodwaters have receded at Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki Towns and roads are open to all vehicles.

Police confirmed with fijivillage News this morning that floodwaters in the area have receded, and they have started reopening roads to the public.

While the weather has improved, Police advise people to stay updated on forecasts as conditions can change quickly.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Roads Authority advises the public that Kings Road is now accessible to all traffic.

They say flood waters have receded allowing for safe passage.
