Flash flood warning in place
A flash flood warning of low lying areas is in place for the Fiji group.

The Nadi Weather Office said an active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over Fiji.

According to the Duty Forecaster, periods of rain, heavy at times with squally thunderstorms is expected over most places.

For Navua, Suva, Nausori, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Labasa and Savusavu this weather pattern is expected to be felt throughout today and tomorrow.

Meanwhile, for mariners, a strong wind warning remains in force for the Vatu-i-ra and Kadavu passages, Koro sea and Southern Lau waters.
