The first night of the Tadra Kahani 2007 saw a new champion crowned in the Primary School Division with Draiba Fijian School taking the title home.
Draiba Fijian took the title after performing their dream story of "Noqu Kalou Noqu Vanua."
Speaking to Village after their win, Draiba Headgirl, Ruci Vueti said the win was a surprise for them as they just started taking part this year.
Draiba Fijian used the chance to show the people their journey as children from a rural setting all the way to the capital. They also showed the public the role the Vanua plays in the life of each individual.
Meanwhile the Secondary Final kicks off at the Vodafone Arena from 7 o’clock tonight. Tickets are already sold out for tonight's show.
