The Vodafone Fijiana 15s side has qualified for the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup after beating Manusina Samoa 27-13 last night and also winning the 2024 Oceania Women’s Rugby Championship title.

Fiji made a clean sweep in the tournament after beating Tonga 48-3 in the first game and PNG 85-6 in the second game.

Fiji made a perfect start to their 3rd game against Samoa scoring 3 converted tries and Samoa scoring an unconverted try as the game went into halftime with Fiji leading 21-5.

It was a tight contest in the second half as Fiji only managed to convert two penalty kicks at goal while Samoa scored another unconverted try and a penalty kick at goal for the final score.

This will be the second time ever for Fiji to qualify for the Women’s Rugby World Cup and something they will be proud of.

In another match of the Oceania championship, Tonga beat PNG 39-5.
