Fijian soldiers shine in British Army

Latest figures released in Britain show that one in every ten British soldier is a foreigner and Fijian soldiers top the list.

Figures revealed by "The Sun" in London shows that British army has troops from more than 40 countries topped by Fiji.

According to the report Fiji which itself has a population of just over 800,000 people has two thousand citizens in the British army.

The figure has left behind South Africa which has 840 soldiers in UK followed by Jamaica and Ghana with 820 each. Concerns have been raised that the armed forces are becoming too dependent on foreign recruits as foreign soldiers are doing a magnificent job. A Grenada and a Fijian soldier recently received awards for rescuing their colleagues while serving in Iraq.

Meanwhile, South Africa is planning a law to prevent people signing up for foreign armies.
