Fiji Television Limited has secured the rights to broadcast the Tokyo Olympics on its free to air channel, Fiji One.

Fiji TV’s General Manager, Sitiveni Halofaki says they always strive to secure and broadcast the Olympics on the free to air channel.

He says Fiji One viewers will join the rest of the world and watch the Olympics including the opening and closing ceremonies starting on the 23rd of this month.

Halofaki says they believe this is an opportunity to refresh our minds and hope in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic affecting Fiji.

He adds Fiji TV is proud to bring in television content that really matters to the people.
