Fiji Now at a Crossroad
Fiji is now at a crossroad with the Interim Prime Minister saying that a new direction should be set for the next lot of parliamentarians, to ensure that there are no racist policies and every attempt is made to reduce the wastage of tax dollars.

Commodore Bainimarama said although no changes can be made to the constitution and the Electoral Act by the interim government, a clear mandate will be set out for the politicians to follow when we have the next democratically elected government.

He said this step has to be taken as a number of racist and unfair policies were formulated by the ousted government.

The Interim PM also said that he is not delaying the elections to hold on to power.
