Fijians will now have a direct link to one of Asia’s most influential cities as Fiji Airways inaugural flight to Singapore will take off tonight.

We have received information that a number of people have booked for tonight’s inaugural flight to Singapore.
A function has also been organised at Nadi Airport tonight where a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place.
In Singapore, the celebration of the launch of direct Singapore-Fiji flights will also take place late tomorrow night where 100 guests from the Singapore Government, aviation partners, trade partners and travel agents are expected to attend the event.
Fiji Airways will have two weekly direct services to Singapore.
The flights will operate from Nadi on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The flight times will suit onward connections to India and South East Asia.
Changi Airport in Singapore is served by 100 airlines connecting 300 cities in 80 countries and territories, making it one of the most important air transport hubs in the world.
