Fiji 7s RWC training squad named, Westfield Barbarians wins Marist 7s

The Fiji 7's training squad for the Rugby World Cup has been announced by Head coach, Alifereti Dere.

The team: 
Leone Nakarawa, Lepani Botia, Nemani Nagusa, Joji Raqamate, Metuisela Talebula, Vereniki Goneva, Samisoni Viriviri, Jasa Veremalua, Waisea Nayacalevu, Watisoni Votu, Alipate Ratini, Ilai Tinai, Jone Vota, Setefano Cakau, Osea Kolinisau, Timoci Matanavou, Sakiusa Gavidi, Emosi Mulevoro, Donasio Ratubuli, Ulaiasi Lawavou and Sunia Kubu.
 
Meanwhile, Westfield Barbarians are the new champions of the 37th Fiji Bitter Marist 7's tournament after beating Wardens Gold 24-0 in the cup final at the ANZ Stadium.

This is the first time Westfield Barbarians has won this prestigious tournament.

Waisea Nacuqu scored the first try for Westfield with Joshua Tuisova, Seremaia Burotu and Pio Tuwai also getting a try each.
 
Meanwhile, Lepani Botia and Seremaia Burotu have been named the top two players of the tournament. 

In the cup semifinals, defending champions Army Green was bundled out of the tournament after they lost 14-5 to Wardens Gold.

In the second semifinal Westfield Barbarians came from behind to beat Yamacia 14-7.
