It is highly likely that the final 12 member national sevens team for the world cup in Russia will come from within the 30 member squad that was announced yesterday.
This was confirmed by Fiji Rugby Union General Manager High Performance Unit Mike Ryan.
Ryan said they will also be on the lookout at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s - The Road To Moscow for other potential players.
Meanwhile, the 30 member world cup squad marches into a three days camp starting today at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks to prepare for the world cup and also the Marist 7s.
The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held next Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
