It was a memorable moment for 22‑year‑old Martin Feussner as he won the Gold Medal and the BSP Bank prize for the Vice‑Chancellor and President's Male Graduate with the best combined academic performance and record of service to the community at the USP 2018 Medal and Prizes ceremony.
He also won three other Gold medals under the Faculty of Science, Technology and Environment.
Feussner says he has applied for a Bachelor of Astronomy at a university in the Netherlands.
He says one of the challenges he faced was with time management, however, he says he knows how to appropriately do things.
Feussner who was born in Germany moved to Fiji in 2000 and attended Rishikul Sanatan College and Rishikul Primary School.
The other recipient of this award was Shaneel Prakash.

More than 50 awards were presented last night.
