Seven traders were warned by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission, after they were found to be engaging in unethical business activities before the New Year.

FCCC says from 28th December to 31st December 2022, their enforcement team conducted a total of 357 pre-New Year inspections.

They are urging Fijians to continue being cautious when taking advantage of deals and specials by always checking the expiry dates of the items before making any purchase and ensuring that they are not overcharged for a price-controlled item by thoroughly checking their receipts before leaving supermarkets.
