Fiji is 150th on the Fashion Week list of 500, and the talent in the country is what takes it up on that position.
Fiji Fashion Week Founder Ellen Whippy-Knight says 11 years after its inception , Fiji Fashion Week is a big fashion industry bubbling along in Fiji now.
Whippy-Knight says this year there are designers coming from India , Australia and Vietnam who will bring competition to the Fiji Fashion Week.
She says in a fashion show such as this, designers are only as good as the next, so designers need to know what everybody else is doing as a benchmark to be able to improve.
Whippy- Knight says competition is good.
Fiji Fashion Week will be held this Friday and Saturday at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
