The Education Ministry has confirmed that they will look into the case regarding the 5‑year‑old student who was reported missing last Friday after attending the Kindergarten Pre School Day at Naivucini Primary School in Naitasiri.
Permanent Secretary for Education Iowane Tiko says they will investigate whether there was enough supervision for the students.
He says he is really concerned about the issue.
Sakeo Turukawa who is a student of Nairukuruku Kindergarten was reported missing at the Totogo Police Station after failing to return home last Friday.
The uncle of the student, Saula Turagaduadua said that his nephew was found on Saturday.
He says the 5‑year‑old boy had boarded the wrong carrier which was headed to Wainimala.
This is the second incident in two weeks where a student was reported missing after school.
