“It’s all about making my country proud.”
This was the sentiment shared by 20-year-old Sheryl Kumar after being crowned Miss India Fiji 2012 last night.
Kumar who is a second year Bachelor of Commerce student at University of the South Pacific said she is thrilled about her win and is preparing well to represent her country on international front.
Director Miss India Fiji, Aliyah Jan said they did not expect such a huge turnout but their 3 months of hard work has paid off.
Kumar will now represent Fiji at the 22nd Miss India Worldwide Pageant to be held in Kuala Lumper, Malaysia next year.
Miss Nativa Motors, Natsha Begum was first runner up while Miss Vinod Patel, Menuka Sharma was announced 2nd runner up.
