Digicel Fiji takes measures to avoid future disruptions to internet services

Digicel Fiji has sourced an additional redundant link as a safety measure to avoid future disruptions to their internet services.

This is after Digicel Fiji customers had experienced disruptions in their internet services twice yesterday.

Digicel has confirmed that this was caused by flow on effects to a fiber outage at Digicel’s Data Centre in Sydney.

The Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Greig says the disruption to the services was extremely disappointing.

Greig has apologized to all its customers for the outage.

The CEO has also announced that all Digicel to Digicel calls will be free of charge for four days over the Easter long weekend for all their prepaid and postpaid customers.
