The devaluation of the Fiji dollar has a positive impact on Fiji exporters.
One of the successful Fijian export companies owned by the villagers of Lutu and Naitasiri, the Lutu Cooperative Company, felt that the devaluation of the dollar has had a positive impact.
Cooperative executive Misiraini Raisuqe said after devaluation, the company is getting more for their produce.
Raisuqe said the Lutu Cooperative has become successful because of proper planning and urged resource owners to follow suit.
