Some companies that are involved in manufacturing or distributing toilet paper in the country have assured people not to panic and that the supply of toilet paper will not get affected.

One of the major manufacturers, South Pacific Waste Recyclers which produces Nambawan toilet tissue says their supply and prices will not get affected.

The Operations Manager of Charan Jeath Singh Group of Companies, Sanjay Kirpal says their toilet tissue is made 100 percent from recycled paper and they do not import any raw material.

Asaleo Care which is another major manufacturer and distributor of toilet paper brands like Viti and Orchid has also assured people that they import from New Zealand and will not face issues.

General Manager, Eldon Eastgate says they are working 24/7 to ensure that their demands are met and do not foresee any issues although they have seen a surge in demand.

Eco Clean Fiji Limited which distributes Palm toilet tissue has also assured that their supply will also not get affected although they import raw material from China.

Managing Director, Shelvin Kishore says they had forecast a slowdown due to the Chinese New Year and had scheduled for enough raw material to be imported in the country and it will be able to cover for the next few months.

Kishore says their suppliers from China have assured them that the supply of raw material will not be affected.
