The Commonwealth is now hoping that Fiji finds a political solution and honors its earlier commitment to have elections in March 2009.
Commonwealth Secretary General, Kamlesh Sharma said Sir Paul Reeves is now arranging the Presidential Forum which is likely to pave the best way forward for Fiji.
Sharma said the Commonwealth will do all it can to focus on nation building in Fiji.
Meanwhile, the Commonwealth Secretary General has confirmed to Radio Australia that the Commonwealth headquarters on regional environment on governance will be based in Suva. The headquarters will open in the capital city within the next few weeks.
