Youth groups from around Suva will come together this evening to hold a candle light vigil for Nelson Mandela ahead of his state funeral tomorrow in his childhood village, of Qunu.
In a statement the Youth Champs 4 Mental Health relates that from 6 this evening members of the different youth networks will gather outside the African High Commission at Kimberly Street.
With candles, placards and flowers the group will reflect on Nelson Mandela a hero and world leader who has inspired many youth and organisations.
The vigil will be held from 6pm till 10 tonight and is also open to the public.
Meanwhile Nelson Mandela's state funeral tomorrow will be attended by 4500 people, from family members and national leaders to foreign guests including Britain's Prince Charles and American civil rights activist Reverend Jesse Jackson.
