There are growing calls online for Donald Trump’s memorable appearance in Home Alone 2: Lost In New York to be deleted from the film.

It comes as the fallout from the riots witnessed in the US Capitol continues with Trump facing a potential second impeachment for his role in inciting the violence.

The outgoing President is facing an uncertain future with many inside the Republican Party cutting ties with the controversial politician.

Trump could also face further criminal investigations once he leaves office.

People are calling for his appearance in 1992 sequel Home Alone: Lost in New York to be digitally removed.

There have been plenty of suggestions that Christopher Plummer is added in his place.

The Independent reports Plummer famously appeared as J Paul Getty in Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World (2017) after Kevin Spacey’s scenes as the character were scrapped due to the sexual assault allegations he faced.
