Fiji Water Flying Fijians coach Mick Byrne is expecting nothing but a lot of energy from the young players that have been selected into the squad for this Pacific Nations Cup campaign because that is the only reason why they were selected.

Byrne says he has spoken to the new players in the squad and has told them to enjoy the selection and be who they are.

Byrne adds he has briefed them as well that there is no need for them to be doing anything special since they are now in the Flying Fijians squad.

Byrne has named 6 new players in the squad who will be hoping to make their international debut in this PNC competition.

The Flying Fijians will take on Samoa at 6pm this Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
