FIJI Water Flying Fijians head coach Jake White and his coaching team are putting the team through an intensive three-day rugby camp in Lyon, France, as preparations continue for the upcoming Nations Championship match against France.
Speaking from France, White says the camp is an important opportunity for the coaching staff to assess players' performances, combinations and overall readiness.
He says the final squad is yet to be confirmed, but the coaching staff is expected to announce the official squad on Friday.
White is using every training session to evaluate the players as competition for places intensifies.
The coaching team will be closely monitoring individual performances and how players work together as they look to finalise the squad for the France Test.
White says that, following the final training session, players will return to their respective clubs to fulfil their weekend commitments before regrouping in Lyon this Sunday.
Fiji will face France next Sunday at 8.10am.
They will then play Ireland on November 15th and Italy on November 22nd.Â
